Documentation, memory and commemoration
October 7th
Saturday the 7th of October caught us shocked, hurt and full of emotions.
As the days passed and the stories were told, we realized that we had to commemorate and document the events from that terrible Saturday.
A dedicated team of volunteers created a book that would compile unedited stories from social networks.
Raw stories are written without prior thinking.
The stories were written without pre-planning - just telling the story as it was.
It’s our duty to document and tell the stories of the families, of the heroes, of the survivors, of the abductees, and of the entire nation of Israel.
This book does not contain all the stories and maybe it is a drop in the ocean. However, we made sure to gather a wide variety of stories that would put together a mosaic of the October 7th War of Iron Swords.

President's greeting October 7 book
" The sights and experiences of that day are indeed unbearably painful; but becoming acquainted with them—and with the extraordinary men and women we lost, as well as the many heroes who fought and continue to fight with courage, many of whom have also fallen—is crucial. Their stories, along with those of thousands of our beloved people who have rallied to the cause both on the front lines and at home, inspire us to cherish life and all that we have, fostering our resolve to rebuild and strengthen our nation."
